Guidelines and Information Regarding the Booking / Hosting of Private Events at SACVI, Gurdwara Sahib.
Before booking: Check the availability on the event Calendar at the bottom of the page .
SACVI is pleased to offer its space for various social private events such as Shukrana, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation celebrations, Barsi (yearly memorial service), and more. If you are planning to host family for your special occasion, you may request Path (such as Sukhmani Sahib or any other Path) and Keertan to be performed by the SACVI Raagi Jatha (Bhai Harjinder Singh ji and Jatha), during your ceremony.
SACVI Kitchen: Please note that while the SACVI Kitchen is available for use during private events, it should NOT be used for preparing food for personal gatherings taking place outside of SACVI.
Private Events Bookings Schedules: For your convenience, private events can be booked from Monday through Saturday. Its is important to ensure that these events do not interfere with the regular services held at SACVI Gurdwara Sahib on Sundays or Wednesdays. For details on regular service timings, please refer to the News and Events page of the website.
No private event should interfere with the services of Gurdwara Sahib / SACVI on Sunday or Wednesday. (Check News and Events page for Services and timings)
All Granthi duties: All Granthi duties, including Ardaas and the reading of Hukumnama will be performed by Bhai Harjinder Singh Ji and Jatha.
Payment for Private Events: It is required at the time of booking, to secure your reservation.
Transportation of Jatha for event held outside of Gurdwara Sahib, it is the responsibility of the sponsoring family to provide transportation for the Raagi Jatha.
Sri Guru Granth Sahib Bheta: Any bheta offered to Sri Guru Granth Sahib will go to SACVI Gurdwara Sahib.
Gratuity and Harmonium money (Keertan Bheta) collected during private events goes to Granthi/Raagi Jatha, who may share it among themselves as they see fit.

Service Charges: The service charges listed below are provided as a guideline and may be adjusted based on specific circumstances. Please be aware that all service charges are subject to change at any time as approved by the BOT members.

Family hosting the private social event can request SACVI Jatha for Path (Sukhmani Sahib or other) and Keertan of their choice, to be performed during the ceremony.
This includes use of kitchen.
